Summer Book Mobile

The Monroe School District Book Mobile is traveling around the district and stopping at designated locations each week so that students may continue to check out library books all summer long!

Now Accepting Applications for Transitional Kindergarten

Monroe School District offers Transitional Kindergarten (free preschool) for children who are not currently in an early learning program and are age eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall of 2023. Applications due June 1, 2022.

Monroe High School Models Inclusive Education

Selected as a state demonstration site modeling inclusionary practices by the University of Washington, Monroe High School welcomed statewide representatives to observe these practices in action at MHS.

Monroe School District to Offer COVID-19 Testing

Beginning October 12, 2021, Monroe School District will begin offering optional COVID-19 testing for free, Monday - Friday at the district administration office from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for students and their families.

NEW Opportunities for Student Representatives on the School Board

With our commitment to equitable access for all students as our focus, we have made changes to our board policy and procedure pertaining to student representatives on the school board. As we move into the 2021-22 school year, there will now be two student representative positions open to any junior or senior in the Monroe School District.
