To our dedicated classified employees,
Classified Employee Appreciation Week presents us with an opportunity to thank you for the critical roles you play in the success of the district.
Classified staff are involved in nearly every aspect of education - maintaining buildings and grounds, preparing and serving meals, keeping school facilities clean and orderly, assisting in the classroom, providing over 60 percent of all instructional hours to special education, English Language Learners, and opportunity gap students, performing and conducting research activities, providing information technology and media services, administrative support functions, safe transportation, a secure and healthy environment, and so much more.
We encourage the entire community to join us in celebrating these amazing staff members and their commitment to providing the best educational experience for our students. Classified employees deserve our gratitude and appreciation not only this week, but all year long for their important contributions to our district.
Along with our community, we thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, we appreciate all that you do to make the Monroe School District successful. It truly takes all employees working together to educate our students.
Thank you classified staff for all you do!
