Applications Open: MSD Budget Advisory Committee

As part of our commitment to transparency and strong community partnerships, Monroe School District is expanding our Budget Advisory Committee, which was established in 2022. This group of students, staff, and community members will learn about district finances, assist in identifying priorities for budget development, and provide recommendations regarding the prioritization of district expenditures.

Facilitated by Brenda Hunt, Chief Financial Officer, the committee is looking to expand to up to 30 members. Interested individuals must complete an application to be considered.

Meeting details

Meetings will be held at the District Administration Office from 6:00–7:30 p.m. Committee members are expected to attend all meetings unless there are extenuating circumstances.

  • June 18, 2026
