The Monroe School District Board of Directors invites community members to review and provide feedback on the proposed 2026-27 district budget.
A public budget hearing will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. During the hearing, district staff will present the proposed budget, and community members will have the opportunity to ask questions or share comments. The regular School Board meeting will begin immediately following the budget hearing.
The Board is scheduled to adopt the 2026-27 budget during its regular meeting on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be held at the Monroe School District Office, 14692 179th Ave SE, Monroe, WA 98272.
Community members are welcome to attend either meeting and provide comments on the proposed 2026-27 budget, the district's four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to how enrichment levy funds are used, as outlined in RCW 28A.505.240.
