Kindergarten Information Night: February 25

Families of children who will be 5 years old by August 31, 2025 are invited to attend our Kindergarten Information Night on Tuesday, February 25 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at each of our five elementary schools.

These meetings will be hosted by our elementary school principals and will include a discussion about curriculum as well as a walk-through of the registration process and a tour of kindergarten classrooms.

All five MSD elementary schools offer all day, every day kindergarten at no cost to families. To find out which elementary school your child should attend, please visit our school boundaries webpage and enter your home address in the search bar. Our five elementary school locations are as follows:

In addition, Frank Wagner Elementary offers a Spanish/English Dual Language Program. Any kindergarten student may enroll; however, bus service is only provided to families living in the Frank Wagner boundary area.

For questions about school boundaries, intra-district transfer requests (transfering into the Monroe School District from another school district) or choice transfer requests (transfering to a school other than their home school within the MSD boundaries), families should visit our transfer request webpage, contact their neighborhood's elementary school, or contact Monroe School District's Learning & Teaching Department at 360.804.2550.

Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year opens on February 25, 2025. It is important for families to enroll as soon as possible following Kindergarten Information Night to help us best plan classes and staffing for the 2025-26 school year and to ensure there is space available for your child. If you'd like to enroll your child during Kindergarten Information Night, we will be happy to help you!
