Summary of nominations: Sarah Wilson, our Special Education Teacher and team leader, truly deserves recognition for her dedication, kindness, and outstanding leadership. I am incredibly grateful to work on her team because she creates such a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment for both students and staff. 

Sarah has a special way of connecting with students. She meets them where they are, becomes like a kid with them, and teaches in ways they truly understand. Her patience, creativity, and caring nature help students feel safe, valued, and successful. She is a fierce advocate for her students and always goes above and beyond to make learning meaningful and engaging for every child. Sarah is also incredibly resilient and always finds a solution to any problem that comes her way.

What makes Sarah even more special is her humility. Even though she is our team leader, she never makes anyone feel “less than.” She stays humble, approachable, and works right alongside us as part of the team. She is always willing to listen, help, answer questions, and encourage those around her. She consistently supports and appreciates both staff and students, creating a culture where everyone feels valued.

No matter how busy the day gets, Sarah always carries a smiling face and positive attitude that lifts up the entire team. Her compassion, teamwork, leadership, and dedication make a lasting difference in our school community every single day.
