Jason Hutchinson

Jason Hutchinson was elected to the Board of Directors in 2013. Motivated by a desire to lead Monroe School District on a path to greatness, Jason knew becoming part of the School Board was the best way to be influential in decisions regarding the direction of the district.

Jason is a Washington native, originally from Walla Walla. He and his wife of 21 years, Denyse, have lived in the Monroe community for 15 years. They met in a country swing class his junior year at Eastern Washington University, where he studied Criminal Justice and Business. The couple has two sons, one is a sophomore at Monroe High School and the other a 6th grader at Park Place Middle School. Denyse is a teacher at Salem Woods Elementary.

Working as a Technical Sales Manager for an Industrial Chemical Company, Jason enjoys getting to see how things we use everyday are made. Additionally, he has been an active community member, serving on the Board of the Monroe Public School Foundation and has spent many baseball seasons coaching his sons’ teams.
