A huge thank you to all of the community members who provided input over the last few months for the superintendent search. Through small group listening sessions, one-on-one conversations, community forums, and an online ThoughtExchange survey, 610 community members shared their input on the strengths and challenges of the district as well as the skills, characteristics & experience they’d like to see in the next superintendent. This community engagement phase of the superintendent search was conducted by HYA Associates, the search firm hired to guide the school board’s search efforts.
With 535 participants, the online ThroughExchange survey garnered the most input from community members. The summary report of the input collected can be found here. All of the ThoughtExchange input collected in its entirety can be found here.
All of the input collected from staff, students, families, and community members will inform the development of the Leadership Profile Report, which will be used in the recruitment and interview phases of the superintendent search. This Leadership Profile Report will be presented and discussed at the school board meeting on Monday, December 12 at 5:00 p.m. Community members are invited to attend in-person at the District Administration Office or via Zoom. A recording of the meeting will also be shared on our website later that week.
Information, timelines, and updates about the superintendent search are on our website, found here.
