Sno-Isle Skills Center
Sno-Isle Skills Center is a cooperative effort of approximately 14 school districts. Sno-Isle provides students with skills that will prepare them for entry-level jobs after graduation or related post-high school education or training. They offer over 20 courses in five different career pathways.
Students are transported to and from the Skills Center, which is located near Paine Field in Everett. Students spend half a day at the Skills Center and half a day at MHS. Sno-Isle credit appears on the MHS transcript with one year counting as 3.0 credits towards a variety of graduation requirements.
Sno-Isle classes are organized into "Pathways" based on general characteristics of an occupation. The five pathways are:
- Information Technology
- Business Marketing and Management
- Human Services
- Science & Health
- Trade and Industry
Applications open in November for entrance into fall classes. Applying is done online. There is an interview process at Sno-Isle later in the spring for students submitting applications. Transportation is provided from MHS. Please visit the Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center website for more information.
