To best meet the needs of students with disabilities through our special education programs, facility updates are needed at Salem Woods Elementary School, Maltby Elementary School, Frank Wagner Elementary School, and Hidden River Middle School. Updates needed at these schools include:

• Reconfiguring spaces to create dedicated learning areas with additional storage for Speech, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy programs
• Updating play areas with ADA accessibility for students with disabilities
• Adding restrooms within some Special Education program classrooms 
• Adding kitchenettes within some Special Education program classrooms
• Adding changing tables where needed
