COVID-19 Testing Sites

If your student is awaiting results of a COVID-19 test, please do not send them to school until you receive confirmation via a PCR test that they are negative for COVID-19 . We have confirmed with the Snohomish Health District that all rapid tests, even if they have been administered by a healthcare provider, are not sufficient for a student or staff member to return to school if they have COVID-19 symptoms. A negative PCR test is required (see list of free local PCR testing sites below).

Local Community Testing Sites With Free PCR* Tests

  • Your healthcare provider- please call your healthcare provider first to check if they do free PCR (not Rapid) COVID tests (usually covered by insurance)
  • Monroe School District Administration Office (Drive-Thru) 
  • Sea Mar - multiple locations (must call to make an appointment)
    • Monroe Clinic: (360) 282-3885
    • Health insurance is not required. You do not need to be a Sea Mar patient to receive a test - all are welcome.
  • Snohomish Health District Drive-thru Test Sites (must make appointment online):
    • 3715 Oakes Avenue Everett, WA 98201
      • Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday
    • 16327 Ash Way Lynnwood, WA 98087
      • Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday
  • Rite Aid Pharmacy- multiple locations- (must make an appointment online): Monroe location offers PCR tests, other nearby locations also available
    • Note: Children 13 or older must make an appointment with their own account

*PCR tests are also called molecular tests and NAAT tests
