Free Meal Program
On April 14th, the Daily Curbside Service times at Park Place and Hidden River Middle Schools will be changed to 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Children attending school:
Elementary schools will serve meals to students that are on-site for both hybrid A/B groups. Meals will not be eaten while on campus, they will be sent home at the end of their time on campus (11:25 am/3:25 pm).
Meals for grades 6-12 will be a combination of in school service and take-home meals. On the day your student is in school, Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, they will receive a bagged lunch to be consumed in school. They will also receive at the end of their day the following meals:
- Monday – Tuesday’s breakfast & lunch and Wednesday’s breakfast
- Tuesday – Wednesday’s day breakfast & lunch and Thursday’s breakfast
- Wednesday - Thursday’s day breakfast & lunch, Friday’s breakfast & lunch and Monday’s breakfast
- Thursday - Friday’s day breakfast & lunch, Monday’s breakfast & lunch and Tuesday’s breakfast
Curbside Service Transition
Wednesday, April 21st will be the last day of the Daily Curbside Service and curbside service will transition to the 5-Day Meal Kit Program for any child not attending school. The procedure is as follows:
5-Day Meal Kit Program (only children under the age of 18 not attending school):
The weekly 5-Day Meal Kit Program at Monroe High School on Wednesday evenings 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. If you would like to participate in the 5-Day Meal Kit Program for your children that are not attending school, please submit an online form (one per family to include all eligible children) to help the food service team plan and prepare enough meal kits. Meal kits are available by pre-order only. Pre-orders are completed a week in advance and opens at 6:00 P.M. each Wednesday and runs through Friday at 8:00 A.M. This order will be available for pick up at your scheduled time the next Wednesday. To receive your kit on April 21st you MUST pre-order between Wednesday, April 14th, 6:00 P.M. and Friday, April 16th, 8:00 A.M.
It is important to note that duplicate meals are not allowed in the free meal program. If your child receives meals at school, they are not eligible for the Curbside Service or the 5-Day Meal Kit Program. The 5-Day Meal Kit Program is only for children 18 years of age and younger who are not attending school. Children do not need to be present at pick-up.
