Communication Survey for Families
Erin Zacharda

To better understand the communication needs and expectations of the families we serve, we are conducting a communication survey that will help us plan for improvement as we look towards the 2022-23 school year.

In the Monroe School District, we believe that when families are informed and engaged in the educational process and the options available to their children, student outcomes improve. The key to family engagement is effective communication and as such, one of our goals is to ensure communication between our district, schools, and families is meeting the needs and expectations of our families.

To better understand the communication needs and expectations of the families we serve, we are conducting a communication survey that will help us plan for improvement as we look towards the 2022-23 school year. This communication survey, aligned to the National School Public Relations Association's Rubrics for Practice and Suggested Measures, measures communication effectiveness from the school and district levels.

This survey is available in both English and Spanish (use the drop down menu at the top of the survey to select your preferred language) and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. To help us collect the most accurate data, we ask that you please fill out one survey per school that your children attend. The survey will be open until Thursday, June 30 at 6:00 p.m. Results of this survey will be shared on our website over the summer.
