Established in the 2022-23 school year, the Monroe School District (MSD) Budget Advisory Committee focuses on analyzing and understanding school district finances and public-school funding. This year, the committee is reviewing the status of the 2024-2025 fiscal year budget and providing recommendations for balancing the 2025-2026 budget, with the goal of providing feedback to help align budget priorities with the District's strategic plan. The committee is also providing input on improving fiscal transparency and exploring methods to support the District in communicating financial information in a more accessible and understandable way.

The Budget Advisory Committee is facilitated by Brenda Hunt, MSD Chief Financial Officer, and supported by the Superintendent.
