Meetings
We encourage you to actively participate in the governing of our public schools. School board meetings are open to the entire community. Meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month beginning at 5:00 p.m. at varying locations throughout the district.* Adjustments may be made to the regular meeting schedule as long as they are posted at least two weeks in advance.
Special meetings may be announced within 24 hours of being held. They are called by the board president, or by a majority of the board, and are typically held to deal with emergencies, study sessions that are not regularly scheduled, board retreats, and school visits.
Regularly scheduled meeting agendas are published two days before each meeting. You can find agendas, minutes, and audio recordings from past meetings on our BoardDocs site.

Public Comment
The school board values input from staff and the community on educational issues. Comments may be made in person at board meetings about an agenda item during the "Business" period or about an item not on the agenda during the "Public Comments" period.
