Free and Reduced Priced Meals
In the Monroe School District, Frank Wagner Elementary and Leaders High School qualify for Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) - this means that breakfast and lunches are free to all students at these schools, regardless of free and reduced lunch qualifications.
Families at these schools will fill out a family income survey (English | Spanish), in place of the free and reduced lunch application. This report is important to provide students access to free waivers and other services.
Families at all other schools in the Monroe School District may apply for the Free and Reduced Price Meal Program at any time during the school year. Eligibility guidelines are set by the federal government and are based on household income and size. All application material is kept condfidential.

Online Application:
- Visit Family Access and enter your login and password the school has provided. If you need your account information, please call your school.
- Select Food Service on the left side of the screen
- Choose a Child
- Select the Applications Tab
- Click Add Application
- Follow the instructions on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Instructions are listed at the top of each page. Click the Next button at the top of each page to be sure you are completing all required steps.
Please be aware that it can take up to 10 business days to process an application. After your application has been processed, you will receive a letter stating the benefits for which you are eligible. Applications are always available in the school office, administration building, online, and are provided below.

Families will need to re-apply each school year - if we don't receive a new application within the first 30 school days, the cost of a full meal will be charged to your child's lunch account if he/she is served a school meal.
Frank Wagner Elementary and Leaders High School only:
Frank Wagner Elementary and Leaders High School are participating in a federal program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This program allows all students at these schools to eat at no charge. Some education programs we provide are funded with state dollars, based on the number of students who qualify for free & reduced meals. The Family Income Survey helps us collect household information so that we can continue to receive state funding. Without this information, we could lose important state funding for educational programs that our students are entitled to.

Note: The Family Income Survey is only for families with students enrolled at Frank Wagner Elementary and Leaders in Learning. If siblings attend schools other than Frank Wagner Elementary and Leaders in Learning in our district, you will need to fill out a free & reduced meal application only.

Consent to Share Student(s) Free & Reduced Meal Benefit Eligibility
Students who qualify for free or reduced meals are eligible to have certain fees waived each year. If your student is already qualified for free or reduced price meals for the 2023‐24 school year and you would like to have their benefit eligibility status shared with school officials, please complete the consent to share form in order to have fees waived. Fees that will be waived include, but are not limited to:
- ASB cards
- Advanced Placement (AP) testing fees
- PSAT/SAT testing fees
- Chromebook Protection Plans
- Extracurricular activity fees (i.e. school dance tickets, club dues)
- Field trips
- Sports participation fees
CONSENT TO SHARE FORM
Please return this form to your child’s school office or directly to our Fiscal Department via mail, fax, email, or in person. Your student may not have the option for a reduction of fees until this form is received and processed by our office. In order to have fees waived, this form must be submitted each school year.

Monroe School District Family Event Pass
Family Event Passes are available for low-income families who qualify for Free or Reduced Meals and have submitted a Consent to Share Form. Family Event Passes allow eligible family members to receive reduced admission to ASB events held at MSD schools. Family passes are not accepted for playoff games or away games.
To apply for a Family Event Pass, please complete this Google Form. Please note: You must qualify for Free and Reduced Price Meals to be eligible for a Family Pass.
