The Monroe School District Board of Directors has launched the formal process to search for the next superintendent of our school district. The national search for a highly qualified educator to fill this executive leadership role will be led by the Board of Directors with assistance from HYA Associates, the search firm hired to guide their search efforts. All activities associated with identifying and screening candidates and questions regarding the position will be handled by HYA Associates.

Dr. Marci Larsen is currently serving as the District's Interim Superintendent for the 2022-23 school year and it is the goal of the Board to hire a long-term superintendent to take over as the leader of the district at the conclusion of Dr. Larsen’s contract in June.

The Board is committed to a transparent and thorough process as they search for a superintendent to lead the district. Community members, families, and staff will be invited to engage in the process and more information on opportunities to be involved will be shared as they are finalized.
