Monroe School District is seeing encouraging gains in early reading skills following the districtwide implementation of a new phonics curriculum in kindergarten through second grade.

As of today, the last day of school is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, unless unforeseen circumstances require additional school closures.

The Levy passed with 50.42% approval, continuing essential local funding for student programs and staff, while the Bond didn't reach the 60% required to pass. The School Board will consider next steps & invites community members to share their feedback through a survey.
