Engagement Meetings for Families of Students with Disabilities start Oct. 15

Hello Monroe School District Families,

Now that the school year is underway, I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself to those I haven’t had the chance to meet and reconnect with those I have. My name is David Paratore, and I’m the Chief of Student Services for Monroe School District, overseeing all special education and section 504 programs district-wide.

For the last two years, we’ve hosted monthly meetings for families of students with disabilities, and they have been so well-received that we’re continuing them for yet another year! These meetings are informal and give families a chance to ask questions, share insights, and connect with one another.

Our first meeting is set for October 15, 2025, from 9:00-10:00 a.m., and I’d love for families of students currently receiving services and those who would like more information about our special education and section 504 programs to join us! You’re welcome to attend any or all of the monthly meetings throughout the year.

Meetings will be held in person each month from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the District Administration Office (14692 179th Avenue NE, Monroe) and virtually via Zoom for those who can’t attend in person. Zoom link: https://monroe-wednet.zoom.us/j/83712210263
