We are quickly approaching the time of year that often brings weather conditions that can impact school schedules.
In emergency weather situations our top priority is the safety of students and staff. We also recognize that canceled school days disrupt family schedules and that the school year may have to be extended. The decision to close schools is not an easy one and many factors are taken into consideration when making such a decision.
If schools are delayed or closed, information will be shared through the following communication channels:
● FlashAlert: You can subscribe to email and text updates through FlashAlert. This is the same notification system that television and radio stations use to get updates about school delays and closures.
● District website: A message will be posted to the front page of our district website.
● School schedule hotline: (360) 804.2950
We will not send or post messages if schedules and bus routes are normal. No news means that school are open and buses are running on their usual routes.
If area districts and colleges are closed, this may impact the schedules of our Sno-Isle and Running Start students.
Visit our Transportation page to learn more about bus snow routes.
If you have questions, please contact the district administration office at (360) 804.2500.
