Dear MHS 11th grade students and families,
All Monroe High School 11th grade students will be taking the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS) the week of April 15-19. This is a state-required test for all 11th grade students, including those participating in Running Start. For more information on this assessment, please visit the OSPI website.
*School will remain on the regular schedule for all students*
This test will be administered during the regular school day. 11th grade students will be grouped alphabetically by last name and scheduled by group to take the assessment during an AM or PM session in the library during this testing window.
Start time for AM sessions will be 7:50 a.m. and start time for PM sessions will be 11:40. Students will use their district issued chromebooks for testing, which must be charged and in working condition on test day. For issues with Chromebooks, please visit the library during school hours prior to spring break.

Students with documented small group testing accommodations will receive an email from Mrs. Melgoza with information on their test day and location. They will also receive a pass on their test day.
Students not required to test at MHS:
- Students who are primarily homeschooled and will not be graduating from MHS
- Students who take the WA-AIM
- Exchange Students
- Students who attend multiple schools need to test at their default school
