First Day of School & Family Fair – Wednesday, September 3, 2025

We are excited to welcome our Bearcats back for the first day of school! Please review the schedule and important details below.

Schedule for September 3

9th Grade Orientation (7:50–9:50 am)

• All 9th graders will attend a special orientation before classes begin.
• Buses for 9th graders will run at their regular morning times.
• Students will attend all six class periods plus Homeroom after orientation. School ends at 2:20 p.m.
• Bus stop times and locations can be found in Family Access under the “Busing” tab for those that have already requested transportation.

10th–12th Grade Arrival (9:50 am)

• All MHS students in grades 10–12 will attend all six class periods plus Homeroom. School ends at 2:20 p.m.
• Buses for 10th–12th graders will pick up students two hours later than usual, if transportation was requested.

Important Reminders

• No Zero Period on the first day. Zero Period classes will begin on Thursday, September 4.
• Students with late start or early release should only attend the class periods on September 3 that match their regular semester schedule.
• Sno-Isle students – please check your email for program-specific information.

Family Fair

When: Wednesday, September 3 from 7:50–9:50 am
Where: MHS Library & Balcony

Families are invited to join us for our Family Fair during 9th Grade Orientation. This is a great opportunity to connect with staff, learn more about programs and resources, and see all that MHS has to offer.

If you cannot attend, these same resources will also be available at Curriculum Night on September 24, 2025.
