We are thrilled to invite our incoming 9th grade students and families to Monroe High School’s Future Bearcat Information Night. This evening is designed to take the mystery out of the high school transition and showcase the incredible community waiting for you at MHS.

Event Agenda

• 6:00 – 6:30 PM | General Presentation: Meet the admin and counseling teams, learn about the MHS mission, and hear about the student experience.
• 6:30 – 8:00 PM | Program Showcase: Explore the campus, meet staff, and learn about specific sports, clubs, and academic programs.

Key Registration Dates

Student attendance at the Future Bearcat Information Night is highly encouraged, as students will officially register for next year’s classes the following week at school.

• Feb 24: MHS Counselors will Zoom with Park Place Middle School students(in Science classes).
• Feb 25: MHS Counselors will Zoom with Hidden River Middle School students (in Health/PE classes).
• Mar 4: Future Bearcat Info Night at MHS (Q&A with staff).
• Mar 10 & 11: In-person Skyward registration support at Park Place Middle with MHS Counselors.
• Mar 11: In-person Skyward registration support at Hidden River Middle with MHS counselors.

Resources: You can view the current 2025-26 MHS Course Catalog here, which will give you an idea of the courses offered at MHS - please note that some courses are subject to change. The 2026-27 Course Catalog is still being finalized and will be available soon. Students will receive a course planning worksheet at school to review with their families.
