AP
The Advanced Placement Program® (AP) enables willing and academically prepared students to pursue college-level studies while still in high school.
Benefits
Taking AP courses and exams can help students:
-
Stand out on college applications. AP courses on a student’s transcript shows that they’ve challenged themselves with the most rigorous courses available to them. And success on an AP Exam shows that they’re ready for college-level coursework.
-
Earn college credit and/or skip introductory courses in college. Most four-year colleges and universities in the United States—as well as many institutions in more than 100 other countries—grant students credit, placement, or both for qualifying AP Exam scores.
Fall 2023 – AP Registration
1. Students will need to login or create a College Board account via myap.collegeboard.org.
Already Have a College Board Account? All College Board programs are connected through one account. If an account was created for AP, PSAT/NMSQT or SAT, you just need your username and password to sign in.
2. Students will need a “join code” in order to join a class section. See the table below for your join code.
3. By default, every student who enrolls in a class section will be included in the exam roster with an order exam status of Yes. If you do not wish to take an AP exam for an AP class in which you are enrolled, please let your AP Coordinator know by November 10. If you cancel after November 15, there will be a cancellation fee of $40 per exam.
