Registration is now open for Monroe School District’s 2026 High School Summer Academy for students currently in grades 9-12.

Following the results of the February bond and levy ballot measures, the district is using community feedback to guide next steps with a focus on transparency, fiscal responsibility, and prioritizing critical facility needs.

Karen Rosencrans is now hosting monthly meetings in the library for SVEC families (this is in addition to our monthly parent advisory meetings). 

These informal meetings will have a specific topic/agenda and monthly emails will be sent to share the topics and meet times as they will vary. You will also have an opportunity to ask or share anything you'd like. We hope to see you there!

The Levy passed with 50.42% approval, continuing essential local funding for student programs and staff, while the Bond didn't reach the 60% required to pass. The School Board will consider next steps & invites community members to share their feedback through a survey.

Monroe School District will ask voters to renew the expiring Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy in the February 2026 special election.

On 10/13/25, our School Board  approved a resolution to place a Bond measure on the February 2026 special election ballot, which would fund projects to provide adequate, safe, modern facilities for our students and community.

Monroe School District is exploring the possibility of opening a local Skills Center to expand career training opportunities for students—share your input by completing a short survey.
