Sky Valley Education Center (SVEC) is a part of the Monroe School District. It is designed to be a bridge between home-schoolers and the public school system. We realize and appreciate the uniqueness of our families and potential families. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.

You are welcome to sign up for a campus tour! Call our office anytime and just ask. Our office can also answer questions about partnership options, direct you to other resources on our website. Feel free to stop by in person as well. We are here to help.

Do I have to live in the Monroe School District to attend?

No, but if you live outside the boundaries of the Monroe School District, a "Choice Transfer Request" is required each year for each student. Here is OSPI's Choice Transfer Request Form. Please DO NOT complete the transfer request form until AFTER your enrollment has been accepted by SVEC. If you do not have an email address, contact our office to request a physical Choice Transfer form. A Choice Transfer may also be called a nonresident transfer, waiver, variance, interdistrict transfer, or out-of-district transfer.
