Safety Drills

Drills will be announced over the intercom system. 

• For Fire: Gather your students together and evacuate the building following the assigned evacuation route. Be sure to turn out your lights and close your classroom doors on your way out. If your light is left on it is an indication that help is needed in that classroom.
• For Earthquake: Crawl under your table. When you hear the "All Clear" sign (short bursts from the airhorn) gather your students together and evacuate the building following the assigned evacuation route. Be sure to turn out your lights and close your classroom doors on your way out. If you light is left on it is an indication that help is needed in that classroom.
• For MOVE/EVADE/DEFEND: Lock interior and exterior doors. Turn off lights. Gather students together and sit in the furthest area away from door and windows. Quiet until you hear the “All Clear” through the intercom.
