Apply Now! Superintendent's Student Advisory Council

Monroe School District students in grades 8-12 are encouraged to apply to be on the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council for the 2023/24 school year!

The Student Advisory Council is made up of student leaders from across our district who are interested in working alongside Superintendent Shawn Woodward and other district leaders to represent the needs and interests of the students of Monroe. Students will have the opportunity to share student voice, advice, and perspectives on leadership, policymaking, and making a lasting difference in our community that's dedicated to and driven by students.

Our goal is for this committee to be representative of our diverse student population. All students are invited to apply and we highly encourage students who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQIA+ students, Multilingual Learners, students who are native to other countries, students experiencing homelessness, students in foster care, and students with disabilities to apply.
